Derek’s younger brother idolized him and joined a neo-Nazi group while his brother was in prison. Do you think that this is likely to occur? Do you idolize any of your older siblings even when they are doing something wrong? Do you think that your younger siblings pay attention to what you do? What kind of example should you be setting for them or they you?
It's the biggest depravity in mankind: To hate another person for no other reason then that they look different. Derek's environment greatly kindled feelings of hatred towards other races, going all the way back to dinner table conversations with his racist father. Do you think that you learn from your parents? If you are the product of a racist family will you be racist? How do you stop the cycle?
