| GENERAL INFORMATION
The school year is divided into two semesters. Each semester is divided into three 6-week grading periods. Eight class periods will meet daily with 1st period starting at 7:55 a.m. and the 8th period ending at 3:30 p.m. Students who have earned enough credits to be classified as a senior and passed all sections of the TAKS may take early release. Students will receive report cards at 6-week intervals. Students failing will receive a failing notice at 3 weeks. English, math, science and social studies must be taken at the appropriate grade level and in sequence.
