SENATE RESOLUTION
RECOGNIZING AND COMMENDING JOHN GOULD FOR HIS TWENTY-SIX YEAR CAREER IN LAW ENFORCEMENT.

RECOGNIZING AND COMMENDING JOHN GOULD
FOR HIS TWENTY-SIX YEAR CAREER IN LAW
ENFORCEMENT.
WHEREAS, John Gould of Rosboro retired on March 1, 2003 after twenty-six years of working in law enforcement on the local, county, and state level; and
WHEREAS, John has been in law enforcement for the Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control since 1985; and
WHEREAS, John began his law enforcement career as the Amity City Marshal in July 1977; and
WHEREAS, John later served as the Clark County Deputy Sheriff in addition to his duties as Marshal which required him to work seven days a week; and
WHEREAS, John served in that capacity for four years; and
WHEREAS, John then became a fulltime criminal investigator in Clark County, and continued in that position until he became a law enforcement officer for the Alcoholic Beverage Control Division; and
WHEREAS, John holds a Senior Certificate in Law Enforcement and an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice; and
WHEREAS, John has been an exemplary public servant throughout his career,
NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE EIGHTY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:
That the Senate hereby recognizes and commends John Gould for his twenty-six year career in law enforcement, and extends best wishes to him during his retirement.
